  • “I had knee pain for many years, but chose to ignore it due to the fact I was very overweight. I assumed any doctor would just look at me and say, "lose weight and you will feel better." Well, I lost over 120 lbs. and still had pain. So I finally sought treatment. I knew a few people Dr. Foos helped and he was highly recommended. After meeting with him, it was decided I needed surgery to repair a torn meniscus and a hole in my cartilage. I was pain free for the first time for as long as I can remember. Fast-forward 2 years, I re-tore the same knee and went back to see Dr. Foos. This time we elected to try a shot of synvisc. It was successful, and I was able to return to my very active lifestyle. I highly recommend Dr. Foos!”

  • “Amazing—Dr. Foos took care of my right knee for a long time. After years of non-evasive treatments, I decided to have a knee replacement. He always said "you will know when it is time for surgery." I had my knee replacment in Mar, 2014 and it was the best decision I ever made. Thanks to Dr. Foos, I am able to go back to Zumba and walk with no pain or discomfort. I also want to mention the staff at Professional Orthopedics was great. If my other knee ever needs replacement, Dr. Foos is the person to do it.”

  • “The staff is always pleasant and helpful. I have had wonderful experiences with all my appointments. Dr. Nicholson was so pleasant and gave me all of the information that was possible to provide with all of my options. His injection technique was also wonderful. When I am ready for the shoulder replacement, he will be hearing from me. ”

  • “On October 2, 2013, I was playing soccer at Rowan University, when I twisted my knee in an awkward manner. My mother was able to call Professional Orthopaedic Associates and schedule a MRI, since I was previously a patient there already. I was able to have my MRI read the same day by Dr. Johnson, only to find out that I had torn my ACL. Since I was in college, we decided to put the surgery off until after Christmas. I went to physical therapy until the day of my surgery, December 27. After receiving ACL surgery early in the morning, I went back home where multiple people called to check in on me and see how I was doing. The first few weeks were tough, but with the help of Dr. Johnson and going to physical therapy, I was able to manage it and get back to walking normal in about a month. Soon after, I was able to get rid of my knee brace altogether and feel normal again. I did hit a few rough patches when something did not feel right in my knee. But thanks to Dr. Johnson, I was able to get an appointment very quickly. He had helped me figure out what was wrong and the problem was gone within a few weeks. On October 21, 2014, I was officially cleared to return to soccer and sports. I am now currently playing soccer again, and my knee is stronger then ever! I could not have done this process without the help of Dr. Johnson or the staff of Professional Orthopaedic Associates. I am very thankful for everything they have done over the past year!”

  • “Dr. Parker has a wonderful and caring bedside manner. I was in terrible pain in my knee, and Dr. Parker gave me a cortisone shot and a prescription for physical therapy along with a topical anti-inflammatory. Dr. Parker reached out to me himself about my prescription. I highly recommend him.”

  • “I actually damaged my shoulder several years ago, but aggravated the injury in November 2014. Dr. Bade looked at my shoulder, ordered X-rays, and an MRI, after which he sat with both my wife and me (spending an hour with us discussing options). He advised that I must perform physical therapy before he would even consider surgery (he did not jump at the chance to do surgery). I went through the PT, and unmistakably, my shoulder felt so much better. I felt so good, that I did not intend to request surgery, but unfortunately I injured the shoulder again while lifting my 95 year old mother after she had fallen. I will need to see Dr. Bade once again . . . and look for his expert advise before jumping to any 'surgery' conclusions.”
