“Had been to another doctor from a huge local practice a few days prior. What a world of difference! Dr. Gabisan actually greeted me and asked me questions re: how I had  broken both of my ankles. Then, amazingly enough, he actually touched my foot and also asked me if I could wiggle my toes! He explained that I would have more bleeding and not to be concerned. He also told me to take aspirin to lessen the possibility of blood clots. I couldn't have been more pleased with his professionalism and his excellent care. The previous doctor couldn't get out of the room quickly enough!”

“My experience with Dr. Gabisan has been very positive. After an unfortunate fall and in a great deal of pain Dr. Gabisan was gentle and kind while examining and diagnosing my fractured ankle. He explained in detail the extent of my injury and did what he could to make my injury tolerable by prescribing the necessary medical equipment and medication to assist me in my recovery. I would feel comfortable referring him to my family and friends.”

“I broke my ankle and went the emergency room where another doctor examined me and told me I would need surgery but had to wait two weeks until the swelling went down. Luckily for me it gave me the time to look for another doctor and a friend recommended Dr. Gabison. I had him do my surgery two years ago and  he is the best doctor I have ever used. “I was very nervous regarding the injury I had suffered after a car accident, being that I am a very active male who enjoys playing a lot of sports as well as dancing about twice a week, and when I go dancing I'm dancing to for anywhere from 4-8 hours or more, usually  with people usually much younger. So being that my injury meant that this was going to be perhaps the most serious surgery I had to go through in about 40 years I was very much concerned. Not only did Dr. G put at ease before, but immediately afterwards & during the 6 month recovery period. “Well, I came to Professional Orthopaedic Associates having problems with my right shoulder, it turned out to be my right rotator cuff Dr. Gentile took care of it and now I am fine. I also had problems with my back and neck and Dr. Jason Cohen took excellent care of the problem he did my neck first and then he did reconstructive surgery of the Lumbar spine. Afterwards they noticed that my left toe was angled to the left, this was due to a problem with my toe bone, So Dr. Cohen put me in the good hands of Dr. Gabisan and I'm currently healing as we speak. They have a great staff that are more than willing to help you. I'm very Blessed to have found such a great team.”

“I had gone to another physician before seeing Dr. Gabisan, and he told me right away that I would most likely have to go for surgery before even seeing the MRI. Dr. Gabisan said I did not have to have surgery after seeing the MRI and just had me wear a boot and within about 5 months I was healed. He was a very calming and relaxed doctor which made me feel very comfortable.”

“Dr Gabisan took the slow and steady course to help mend my Achillies tendon. He told me up front that it would take six months to heal and allow me to walk properly. He prepared me for the future by telling me there is calcification in the tendon and I may have issues in the future. This allowed me to prepare and recognize symptoms before hand! “My family sees other physicians within Professional Orthopaedic Associates, and we argue over who had the better experience. Whether for knees, necks, backs, or ankles - we know where to go - Professional Orthopaedic Associates! I have been a patient of Dr. Gabisan's for a little under a year, but I must say that I wish he was not just an orthopaedic. His bedside manner is amazing. He sits, listens, and asks questions to better understand your issue. When you are a patient of his, you are a person not a number or a set of symptoms. I have been having issues with the same ankle over the better course of 7 years. He listened to the each issue, and then went further, and helped me come up with strategies to alleviate the tension and stress on my joint. Not to mention he warned against future injuries in my other ankle because of loosening ligaments. While the physicians are attentive and caring, it is not just Dr. Gabisan who makes the experience comforting, his office staff, Roz and RoseAnne worked with my crazy schedule to help get the scans I needed, and a chance to see Dr. Gabisan where I would not feel rushed. Even though in my future is probably a surgical procedure I think I can say I look forward to knowing that I will have all of the answers to my questions, and someone supporting me through it all.  ”
