“Last year, I saw Dr. Bade because my right shoulder was bothering me. He ordered a CT scan, and after review prescribed physical therapy. The PT made a complete difference in how I felt... Dr. Bade indicated no further action was required at that time... I was very pleased that he did NOT jump on the chance to operate... it was obvious he had MY best interest in mind. Unfortunately, I damaged the shoulder further... this time I need surgery because the rotator cuff is in fact severely damaged. “Dr. Gesell recommended that I have knee replacement surgery to alleviate the pain in my knee. The Office staff set up all of my appointments for me at Monmouth Medical Center. I arrived at the hospital on the morning of the surgery, and the check-in was speedy. Dr. Gesell operated using the Mako robot. The surgery went well, and I don't remember a thing until I woke up. The Nurses and Residents at the hospital were all very attentive and professional. They got me up to walk right after the surgery, and I went home the next day. My recovery was speedy, and I was walking around the house with just the aid of a cane by the end of the first week. If I had known the recovery was going to be so quick, I would have done this a long time ago. My knee is so much more stable now without that grinding pain. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Gesell and his whole team! ”
