Benjamin M. Giliberti, MD, is a board-certified orthopaedic spine surgeon who specializes in surgical and nonsurgical treatments for back, neck, and spine conditions and injuries. Dr. Giliberti joined Professional Orthopaedic Associates in 2021.

After completing his bachelor’s degree in biology at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Dr. Giliberti earned his Doctor of Medicine degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. He then pursued an orthopaedic surgery residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey. Following his residency, he underwent an additional year of fellowship training in spine surgery at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. 

Through his extensive training in orthopaedic spine surgery, Dr. Giliberti became an expert in cervical, thoracic, and lumbar procedures to repair spinal deformities, herniated disks, and scoliosis. His expertise includes performing disk removal, decompression, fusion, and replacement as well as revision spine surgery and minimally invasive spine surgeries. He is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

Dr. Giliberti is dedicated to seeing his patients reach their goals and return to the high quality of life they are used to. When he is not seeing patients, he enjoys spending time with his family as well as cooking, wakeboarding, snowboarding, auto racing, and playing golf. 

Dr. Giliberti is available to see patients at our Tinton Falls, Toms River, and Freehold offices.

On your first visit, if requested, our staff will review those benefits with you so that any financial obligations will be known. Currently, we participate with Medicare. We accept most other insurances on an out-of-network basis. We also accept cash, personal check, and credit card.
